UI Designer / Front-End Designer

Role Summary

We are seeking a UI Designer with hands-on front-end development experience to create clean, responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Create user-interface designs, layouts, design patterns, and reusable visual components.

• Convert wireframes and visual designs into responsive web pages.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs.

• Maintain visual consistency, usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across applications.

• Support improvements to existing screens, workflows, and user journeys.

Required Skills

• Strong UI, graphic design, layout, typography, and interaction design skills.

• Hands-on HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, and responsive web design experience.

• Working knowledge of Angular and component-based front-end development.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards, design systems, and cross-browser compatibility.

Technical Screening Questions

1. Walk us through how you convert a wireframe or design file into a responsive HTML/CSS interface that works across desktop and mobile devices.

2. How do you create and maintain a reusable design system or component library while ensuring visual consistency?

3. What accessibility standards do you consider when designing forms, navigation, color contrast, keyboard interactions, and error messages?

4. How do you collaborate with Angular developers to ensure that a design is technically practical and implemented accurately?

5. Describe how you would diagnose and correct a UI that appears differently across browsers or screen sizes.
